Incorporated in 2008, the Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, collection, and commemoration of the history of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal. The Society's mission is to preserve the Court's historical records; to collect and create further records, in print and electronic media; to commemorate the history and achievements of the Court; and to educate the public about the workings of the Court and the judicial system. The Society is neither part of the judicial branch of the state of Florida, nor is it owned or controlled by the Third District Court of Appeal.

Please join us for our Biennial Luncheon!

We invite you to join or renew your membership here, to purchase individual tickets to the luncheon here, or to sponsor one or more individuals at the luncheon here.

We cordially invite you to join us for lunch with the judges of the Third District Court of Appeal! Both seats and sponsorship opportunities are limited—act now!

On May 19, the Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society will host its traditional members-only luncheon with the judges at the Biltmore Hotel.

Chief Judge Suarez will deliver the keynote address about the recent changes (and new construction) at the Third District, and Judge Scales will deliver his always-enjoyable slideshow presentation about the last two years at the Court. The food is consistently delicious and every member will be seated at a table with one of the judges of the Third District.

April 19, 2017 is the deadline to pay for your tickets or to sponsor the program. Tickets are $75 and sponsorship opportunities are available at the $250, $500, and $1000 levels. The sponsorship levels include one, two, and three luncheon tickets, respectively.

Both tickets and sponsorships require your current membership, which you may renew by visiting the enrollment page here.

You may also send your payment for tickets and/or sponsorships to our Treasurer Elliot Kula:

Kula & Associates, P.A.
11900 Biscayne Blvd. Ste. 310
North Miami, FL 33181.

And if you have further questions, you can e-mail Elliot at elliot@kulalegal.com.

We look forward to your joining us!

The Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society celebrated its members-only Fourth Annual Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, immediately following the pinning ceremony recognizing the Court staff’s outstanding service and dedication.
